Children's Church will now be held in the Chapel each Sunday.

Family Ministries would like to have college student's name, address, email address and phone number for “College Connections.” We will be asking the congregation to encourage a college student during the school year. Please email or give your college student's information to the church office by Sunday, September 5.

Chicken BBQ dinner:  donation sign-up list on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall.  Coolers, large pots, burners, and filled propane tanks are also needed.  Place under the Lord's Shelter by September 8.

You are invited to join the Golf Team!  Mount Zion United Methodist Men’s Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, October 15, at the Raleigh Golf Association on Tryon Road, Garner.  (Rain date:  October 22.)  Organizational meetings are each Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a classroom.  There are many opportunities to help organize this event.  You need not attend every meeting.  This is a great outreach as well as a fundraiser for our building fund.

Sign up in the narthex to have your picture taken for the new church directory.  Pictures will be taken on September: 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22. Everyone who gets their picture taken will receive a free 8” x 10” portrait of your family and a free directory.  Last day to sign up is Sunday, September 5.

CAFÉ is a ministry enjoyed by all, and is a great way to welcome visitors to Mount Zion. Coffee, creamer, and sweeteners are provided. Host/Hostess’ set-up, provide snacks and clean-up. CAFÉ is from 9:30 to 10:00 am. Classes, individuals and others can team up to volunteer. Volunteers are needed for August 29 and September 5th. Please sign-up in the kitchen.

Altar flowers are available on Sundays, September 12, 19 and October 3. Each arrangement is $44 and can be taken home after the 11 a.m. worship service.
