Join us in worship for 7 weeks for a sermon series entitled:
"Death by Political Correctness"

The term "political correctness" represents a way of addressing issues (or not addressing them) that does not offend, cause discomfort, or challenge anyone. When it comes to controversial topics, being PC means obvuscating, claiming to be non-commital, or trying to solve differences by asserting that all perspectives hold equal validity. While this approach seems far nicer that the opposite tactic of intentionally malicious confrontation, it is no more "Christian". The Bible and Jesus himself fearlessly address some of the hot-button issues of our day with a balance aptly described as speaking the truth in love. This series of messages considers seven subjects that often receive front page coverage from partizan perspectives. Without pushing a politcal agenda, we will hear how Scripture speak to each issue and to each of our lives.
  • 6/21 - "Humanism"
  • 6/28 - "Sexual Deviancy"
  • 7/5 - "Substance Abuse"
  • 7/12 - "Abortion"
  • 7/19 - Guest Speaker - Matthew Spivey
  • 7/26 - "Divorce"
  • 8/2 - "Pornogrophy"
  • 8/9 - "In Government We Trust"
