Harbor House:
Harbor House has been assisting victims of domestic
violence, sexual assault, and displaced homemakers in
Johnston County for 20 years. They are committed to
victim services realizing that domestic and sexual
violence are not just family problems, nor are they
issues that affect only women. These acts of violence
impact our entire society. In addition, they
offer services for displaced homemakers and ensure that
those who are displaced as a result of a divorce, death,
or separation can get the services they need to support
themselves and their families. Thank you for taking time
to learn more about domestic violence, sexual assault,
and displaced homemakers and how you can help.
Harbor House operates two upscale resale shops:
*One is located
in Smithfield 721 E. Brightleaf Blvd, three doors down from
Edwards IGA,
behind the
Pizza Hut.
*The second is
located at 132 E. Main St. in Clayton.
Pizazz provides
profit for shelter programs as well as in-kind
items such as
clothing and household goods for those in need. Donations of
gently used clothing, furniture, and household items are
always appreciated and tax deductible.
The Clayton store only sells women's clothing and
accessories while the Smithfield store offers a larger
variety of items including, men and children's clothing and
household items. Store hours are: Monday - Friday 10
AM - 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM - 3 PM. |
